This firm needed to evaluate a redesign of monthly statements for financial advisors and plan administrators. The redesign was in response to requests from advisors, some of whom said they directed their clients’ investments to other funds because of issues with the statements.
In addition to getting advisor feedback on the new statement, our client needed to determine whether the changes could be expected to increase fund investment sufficiently to repay the cost of the statement upgrades.
Our measurement of “lost” investment showed an attractive ROI on the statement redesign.
